Guadalupe, 23. I emigrated from Michoacán, Mexico when I was 10.
I love to read. My biggest dream is to see my children grow up. The main reason I emigrated was to have a better life. Something I’d like to say about my family is that I love them and miss them. My parents are in Mexico and my sisters in Michoacán, and that my children are beautiful.
What is hardest about being an immigrant woman is not to be able to work and not to be able to drive.
I’d like to tell the women in the Latina Women’s Movement: Women: Go forward with your children and do not be afraid for being immigrants!
